Test Scope and Test Significance
Seat seam fatigue machine is used to evaluate the fatigue strength of seams on the automobile seat surface. It is suitable for all kinds of interior decoration materials, such as woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, coated fabrics, nonwovens, leather, and composite fabrics. The surface materials of automobile seat are mostly stitched and stitched, the seams strength and fatigue strength of the seams directly affect the service life of the seats. With the increasing attention to the quality of the automotive interior, the project can evaluate the durability of interiors effectively, thereby evaluate the fatigue resistance of the materials and improve them.
Test Principle
Apply a certain amount of tension load repeatedly to the joint part of the sample, evaluate the fatigue suture strength of the surface after repeated stretching. The seat seam fatigue equipment consists of a reciprocating central chuck and a chuck connected with a heavy hammer. Install one specimen on the left and right chucks before the test. With the movement of the central chuck, the gravity of the specimen increases or decreases sometimes, and judge the fatigue strength of the specimen according to the crack degree of the joint after reaching the set time.
Testing Procedure
1 Each test bit of the tester includes a pair of corresponding fixtures for fixing the specimen, and the height ruler is used to set the separation distance of each test fixture to 140mm.
2 Fix the specimen on the gripper and adjust the position of the left and right gripper to make the test space meet the standard. Align the first sewn sample and hold it in position, remove the height ruler, and install other test locations as well.
3 Set the test times, start the test, speed reducer drive the middle gripper to do reciprocating motion. The left and right grippers are connected with 3kg load. When the gripper moves back and forth, the samples go through the process of loading and unloading respectively in a period. The counter records the movement period of the gripper, and the test stops after reaching the set number of test cycles.
4 Take out the sample, evaluate the fatigue resistance of the joint by observing the change of the joint.
