Application

Salt spray machines are also known as salt spray cabinets, salt spray chambers, and salt spray test machines. What is the Salt Spray Test?

The salt spray corrosion test consists of two types. One is natural exposure and the other is machine simulation. Salt spray tests mainly use salt spray equipment to simulate the manufacture of a salt spray environment. Besides, the more time it takes to corrode the material, the more potent corrosion of the sample has. When the test finishes, we can get an accurate result. The main factors influencing the results of the salt spray test include the temperature and humidity of the salt spray test, the concentration of the salt solution, the angle of sample placement, the pH value of the salt solution, the amount of salt spray deposition, and the way of spray, etc.

Maintenance


1 Replace the water in the heat sink if the test lasts more than one month.


2 If the salt solution is not used over one week, do not use it again, so as not to affect the test.


3 If the next test takes a long time, clean up the test chamber, and discharge the water in the tank.


4 Please replace the glass nozzle per 2000 hours test, in order to ensure the test quality.

Fault and handling methods


Because the salt fog tester has been conducting salt fog aging tests for a long time, it is likely to be many failures or be out of work. Here are some common failures and handling methods.

The laboratory temperature cannot rise to the set one.

Causes:

1 The set temperature of the laboratory temperature controller is too low.

2 The safety protection switch in the laboratory is set too low.

3 The heating system, electromagnetic relay, and controller go wrong.

Handling methods:

1 Set the temperature controller to the required temperature;

2 Set the safety switch to the required temperature;

3 Notify the maintenance company for on-site repair.

Unable to spray

Causes:

1 The air compressor is not running;

2 The main switch of the air compressor outlet is not opened;

3 Solenoid valve and electromagnetic contactor go wrong.

4 The pressure gauge fails to work or the pressure is too low;

Nozzle clogging

Handling methods:

1 Turn on the air compressor button;

2 Turn on the main switch of the air compressor;

3 Notify the maintenance company to carry out on-site repair;

4 Remove the nozzle for cleaning (please disassemble it carefully)

Fail to work even though the power turns on

Failure cause: The power supply for operation will be cut off when the water level in the heating tank is too low.

Treatment method: increase the water level of the heating tank to the normal level.
